Our Call for Ideas has ended

Thank you for all your ideas and suggestions. We picked out an interesting and promising mix of speakers and we are now in preparations for the event. Stay tuned for more information!

Thema: (Re)Imagining the Future

Focus of content: Which ideas and developments are changing or will presumably change society and/or the relationship between individual and society?

None of us can foresee the future, and yet we all have very different conceptions of how it might look like – or how it should look like. The TEDxKIT 2017 talks should be about what ideas and visions exist concerning our social, technological or economical developments. Which new forms of living and housing will form? In which direction will mobility develop? Will new forms of work and changing work environments transform our lives? How will we be communicating? Which developments will fundamentally affect human relationships? Which trends will revolutionize the political landscape?
The speakers will explore these and other questions – always against the background what these social transformations may mean for the individual. The speakers should come from a range of different areas: artists, scientists, social activists, etc. – persons that already change or envision the world of tomorrow.
